The ultimate printer I can recommend is the Bambu Labs X1 carbon with AMS or P1P if you have deep pockets. ($1200). It's a massive leap forward in 3D printing, with excellent quality and impressive speeds. It's pretty much press print and go as the software and hardware do the calibration before each print.

This is probably a well over-engineered design. The feel of the lever and its operation is very positive to ensure you do not select the wrong setting. There are detents in both the Flap selection decal as well as the case, providing a level of feel, unlike other units I have tested. The lever also features a side sprung loading. A mini servo is used for flap trim indication.

Place the Decals (2) & (3) on the Faceplate (1) I used Glue to attach these. Ink printed version on self-adhesive paper can also be used.

Use 8C as a printed template to cut the chape from 3mm aluminium. Insert and glue 8C into 8B.
OR:
Print 8A as a combined unit.

Ensure the lever knob (9) fits onto the Flaps Stem (8C). Do not permanently attach Yet!

Use the amazon assorted spring box and select a spring to fit into the recess of part (4)

Place the lever assy of the spring and insert the lever assy into part (4) compressing the spring.

Insert an M4 x 22mm screw into Parts 4 and the lever arm. Ensure the lever arm is free to move and is not binding.

Place the lever plate on top and secure it with Qty 4, M4 x 8mm screws.

Place QTY 4, ultra mini roller microswitches onto the LH Support (6) and secure them with Qty 8, M2 x 10mm screws.

Place the Lever assy onto the LHS support assy

Place the RH support assy (10) into position and secure it with Qty 2, M4 x 10mm screws.

Insert an M6 x 40mm bolt through the unit. Ensure the head sits fully into the recess

Secure the M6 bolt with an M6 lock nut. Do not over tighten causing the unit to bind.

Secure the servo arm (11) on the Mini servo

Place the servo and arm onto the RH support as shown. Secure it with Qty 2, M2 x 10mm screws. These normally come with the servo.

Insert the faceplate (1) onto the unit and secure it with Qty 4, M4 x 8mm screws.

Insert a 6mm Ball bearing, Spring into the orifice. Secure the items with the bearing cap (7) and Qty 2 , M4 x 8mm screws.
