Hi! I have connected all the backlight leds, except one that does not fit into any 4-led group.
How do you connect the last one so that it gets the correct voltage and dims like the others? If I give it a larger resistor to get it into the right voltage and current, it behaves differently when dimming. Im my case it's the exec button here, the 4-led groups dim much quicker:
Hello again, can you please show where I have labelled the pot for dimmer use (I will remove it). The pot in my unit is there to hold the knob only as the pot on the actual unit adjusts screen brightness, not backlighting.
Good Morning, Have you used a 110 Ohms Approx for the last LED? This might be because you are using the voltage to change the dimming, Normally I use a PWM LED dimmer. You might find that will adjust the brightness the same.
I really don't recommend connecting your 12V led circuit direct to a pot. That poor pot won't last long!
