Can anyone explain to me how to connect the Trim Wheel to Prosim? I have it connected to Mobiflight and it works but for the life of me I can't work out where to set it up in the Combined Configurations in Prosim. Throttles and Speed Brake no problem, just the Trim Wheel.

Hello,
The best way i can think of sorting this out for you is to write a line in mobiflight using FSUIPC.
Read the P:rosim value of the Trim up gate or trim down date and assign an FSUIPC offeset to each.
In the mobiflight output tab, select the stepper and in the config:
when fsuipc up gate =1 add 200 steps
When down gate =1 add 200 steps.
Crude but it will work, you may have to change the step amouint depending on the intailly value.
Mobiflight will read the gate value you asssigned and then transform the value 1 to a set amount of steps, hence the wheels will turn in the required direction.
Kind Regards, Karl
Hi Karl,
Can you help with this one please, I'm pulling my hair out! My stab trim switch is on the yoke and is setup as two buttons, (up and down), on my Leo Bodner board. I have found the trim motor in the combined configurations - Throttle/MCP- Gate - Trim Motor down and Trim Motor up.
How do I make the connection between the yoke push buttons and this configuration in Prosim as there is no option for buttons, only FSUIPC event codes. Do I have to rewire my yoke to have these two switches connected to the Arduino/Mobiflight?
Hope the above makes sense and hope you can point me in the right direction on this one.
Thanks,
Graeme
