The legs are the old fashioned solder type used all over on my aircraft. The idea is that you strip an 8mm insulation off the end, twist the stranded wires and then bend them around the pin to form a hook. Then you solder directly onto the pins. Cut off any excess wire from the joint. Heat shrink if required.
