I have another question about the stepper wiring. Looking at the diagram on Throttle5 Build Guide, pins 11 & 12 (ENA+ and ENA-) map to the Arduino Mega. That's 6 connections instead of 4.
However, on this diagram of the same date, pins 11 & 12 connect to each other and not to the Arduino. Thus 4 connections to the Arduino. Can you please clarify which is correct?
Thanks Karl. You say Mobiflight needs 4 output. There are 6 connections, not counting GND and +5v, from TB6600 to Arduino Mega shown in the diagram on Throttle5 page. I have seen diagrams where PULL-, DIR-,ENA- are all mapped to GND, thus 4 connections to Arduino. Will that work?
Hi henning, yes A+, A- is one Coil and B+,B- is the other Coil.
thank you so much, will try that
thanks,
will try that, which wires should be crossed?
Hi Ido,
maybe you dont need 6 of the drivers.
Just connect both Steppers of the Trimpointers to one driver.
You have to change the Cablepairs of one Stepper crosswise, because one Stepper is running clockwise and one CCW. thats all.
I have it done this way.
They allways move the same steps.
