Did some tests with thrust rev arms , resin printed just to test the strengt compared to PLA , fisrt i print it with monocure rapid was ok but Syraia build was lot better not brittle and tappable for the treads.
@hasse.w Looking good! I printed my first big part on the CR-10, however had bridging support issues some 13hrs into the print :( managed to salvage it, hopefully a bit of two-part wood filler and some spray will rescue it!
@hasse.w I’ve got 3x CR-10 v3, 2x Prusa Mini+’s, 1x Prusa mk3s, 2x Form3’s, and 2x Saturns. Going to make the FMC with resin hopefully. My friends company has a MJF printer which I’m hoping to get some Nylon parts made on that :) fingers crossed!
I had a nightmare with supports and at one point it didn’t bridge. Thankfully, I paused and place a strip of blue take over it and the printed over it with no issues. Will try the supports in Cura as this was prepped in Prusa Slicer.
When you look at 3D printing pages, people are always printing benchys, figurines and vases etc, but you are building a Boeing 737! It really is breathtaking! At this rate, you’ll have it flying for real!
Thank you, this puts a smile on face! This single part caused some serious brain overload. So many prototypes and adjustments. But looking at your photo, and sewing the design produced by someone else is pretty cool!

First part printed! 4 printers online tomorrow! Very clean design Karl! Hats off to you! 👍🏻
These are big prints and for a prefect finish you need to take it nice a slow. However, its a fun and fairly simple build! Enjoy guys!
Nice setup! This is definitely going to be my favourite 3d print (…until it goes wrong lol)
