The quad is almost finished, yaa. I am just waiting on the stepper motor drivers to test full functionality. For now, it functions really nicely and just some minor cosmetics to go. Only suggestion I would make is to buy the Leo Bodnar card, it is worth the extra couple of bucks for smooth functioning pots.
Thanks Karl for a great design, sure hope you land safely back in the UK and are simming again real soon.

Hi Jim !
were you able to get the Auto throttle functionality to work properly ? i have asked in the mobiflight forum and even the developers seems to think this is not possible..
how do i get software to know where the throttles are and where to move them ?
As soon as the handles are manually moved the software will have no idea where the handles are. or am i missing something here?
you bet

Amazing build!! just about to start mine. any chance I can connect with you outside this forum to pick your brain prior to starting my build?
Here is a link to the arduino sketch I used for the throttle hall sensors. You only need to modify the variables to your specific needs. Hope this helps

Hello Jim.
Are you able to supply me with the setupa towards Mobiflight and arduino with the offsets and programming
Thanks Karl, it is a tough time to move away form a place you seem to have really enjoyed, at least that is the impression i got when I watched your videos. Looking forward to the updates but no rush, summer will be here soon and that means more outdoor time for us Canadians, thus less simming and building until the fall.
Stay safe,
Jim
Good morning Jim,
The house is almost completley packed up now, the remainder was sold off via a garage sale yestreday. Good job in the build, and hopefully you find it feels fantatsic even in non motorised mode. There are a few mods planned courtesy of Piki, but they will not be publiciy issued until we are set back up in the UK.
Its always greeat to see peoples builds! Thank you!
Kind regards, Karl.
