Hi Karl, just a quickie. Coming to the end of the MTU assembly and I seem to have a mammoth gap using the TW7 spacer, stepping the trim wheels away from the unit more than it should I think. It's probably me doing something stupid as nobody has raised this issue previously.

The trim wheel is fixed to the spindle and the gap seems too much. To me the TW7 spacer should be 25% the depth?

Any help appreciated and thanks again for this superb piece of engineering.
Cheers
Pete
I encountered a similar issue. For me, I was fixed once I attached the LH to LHS and then inserted the gears per Step 7 and 8. One word of caution. I had zip tied my wires and attached to mounting base. This caused the gears not to move so I had to reroute some of the wires and mounting base.
