I'm just thinking about creating my own 737 SIM And I wanted to purchase the Yoke separately but I have no clue if it includes the F/O Side as well, could somebody please let me know?
The Left and right yokes on the 737 are 9 5 percent identical
On the left side the Autopilot Disengage button is on the left whereas the right side it is on the right The same applies to the to the trimmers and the Mic switches
I used Carl's basic Left yoke and made small alterations to make it work for the right.
Alterations are basically drilling holes for the Buttons The wiring is just a mirror copy
Only real 737 detail lovers will notice the difference between the left and right yoke
I may be wrong but I have not seen Klarkie making any alterations on the left/right designs in all of his designs and videos but the changes are not difficult. The protrusion into which the Autopilot Disengage button fits is already present on the right handle
I also changed his right handle hole cover on Klarkies yoke design to cater for "Remember Wheels" I.e. Three wheels with numbers 0 to 9 which the pilot can turn to remember numbers like squawk numbers since there is no time for pen and pencil on a busy flying day I took a combination padlock apart to get my numbered wheels
Attached find two pictures
The first picture shows what I call the Remember Wheels which is an optional set of wheels available as an option on the 737 800 series aircraft
Picture 2 shows the right side yoke Note:
The Remember Wheels are on the left arm
The Autopilot Disengage button is mounted on the right arm
The Trimmer buttons are mounted on the right arm
