I purchased the MIP Build guide last year, at the time it was at Version 2.0. I have not yet started building it. How does this work, as the build guide I believe has now been updated - Does owning the 2.0 entitle me to upgrade to the updated version somehow or do I need to buy the new version. Are there compatibility issues between the versions or am I fine with the 2.0?
I believe the version I have does not include the dxf files "737 MIP DXF Files for laser cutting and etching. (Thanks to Brad Heller)"
Is there a way to get hold of these or should I have them somewhere and I just missed it? Hope someone can straighten out my question marks :)
Hello, great to hear from you again!
V2.0 is the latest version of the Build Guide. If the version changes, I update the download link. Just click on the link on your invoice and it will update to the latest version.
As for the DXF files, they can be found here: (under MIP menu selection):
Kind Regards Karl
Thank you for clarifying Karl! This sorted out all my question marks :) Nice to know I'm building with the latest drawings! I had much fun drawing my own panels in Fusion using your measurements as I had totally missed this page with fusion files and stl files and all :) Nice to have access to it now though :) Currently bulding my CNC thoug so I'll probably re-make the panels. The DXF-files will work for both cnc and laser right? I used another font on my panel versions, the MS33558 and I really like it. It should be good for engraving and seems to be the one that Boeing uses.
Again, hate to sound like a broken record but thank you so much!
