I was wondering if any one else on the forum has had a MegaX printer and how it measures up to other printers. I usually have to do a lot of sanding and numerous layers of paint to get my prints smooth. Are there other printers that require a lot less finish work. I don't have a lot of experience with settings and it could just be not having the proper settings that's causing these issues.

Hello Jerry,
The quality of the 3d prints depends heavily on proper settings and on a bit of experience that you can gain only by trial, error and correction. This can be a little frustrating at first, anyone goes through it at the beginning, but you will see great improvements as you progress.
I'm not giving a 3d print tutorial here, there are already many good ones around. Just a couple of good starting points: for me, the turning point from mediocre to good prints was helped by two factors: a good slicer, as Cura, and a quality filament.
I discovered the Kexcelled Matt 1.75 filament on Amazon and it was a real game changer to me in order to get smooth prints.
The picture shows Karl's yoke under print with a Creality Ender 3 using the above filament.

Roberto
I'm ready to start printing and under the Parts Guide:You are going to need the following items to complete this build: it gives the printer settings for pla for those parts. Are the settings the same for the C1 LHS Body, C2 Centre Case, & C3 RHS BODY?
