Hi there,
cable management - I have seen Karl using some black cable ties or string or something wrap around the cable to create a loom in several videos. Anyone know what the stuff is called? I am trying to find it, but first I don't know what it is called, and second I would need to find it in Germany, where it might have a different name. So any ideas would be highly appreciated.
redownload a design - I purchased the plans for the 737 throttle a year back. Now a few weeks back there was a videos with some alteration which I would like to download. How does this work? It says my download link has expired (obviously, since it only is valid for 30 days). Any help would by much appreciated.
Best,
Daniel
@Karl Clarke Hi Karl, sorry, totally missed your reply and the email went straight into my junk folder. I redownloaded the files now; appreciated! :)
As for the lacing cord: why not use the technique as in the real thing? ;) However, when I search for lacing cord on German amazon I get stuff people use to create neck laces and stuff. Seems like cotton string covered with wax. Is this the stuff?
Hi Daniel,
Bernie has given you the wrapping link, but i think you also mean lacing cord. This is the black stuff I tie around the cables to keep it all looking neat any tidy. Its quite an old fashioned aircraft technique, but i think it looks much more pro than tye wraps.
As for the link, let me see if i can sort that now!
Kind Regards
Karl
