Hey. Can someone help me out, I'm going to build a MCP panel for my X-Plane 11 setup and I'd like to know how the configuration will be different? If there is some kind of manual how to do it, I would appreciate that a lot. Thanks.

Spent a while working on the MCP for X plane as some are outdated. Sometime when im free ill put a step by step guide out
You only need one arduino about 3 multiplexer otherwise the steps are the same
Well I finally got the MCP working with XPlane using SimVim. What a long process this was but everything works with the Zibo 737. The one thing I would like to do is engrave the KD22 caps or make new ones. They just pop out so they could be replaced. I could use some help designing them though if someone could help?
I have completted the MCP with Simvim (actually HCSCI ) and it works fine. The only problem I had, was the LED's in the pushbuttons not working, but I eventually solved this by updating the SimvinX plugin and the Zibo mod plugin to the latest versions. I connected the 7 segment displays directly to the Arduino mega, but the encoders and switches through 2 multiplxers. The LED's are connected by means of 2 DM13A driver chips with an external 5V power supply. HCSCI is really easy to use, there is no real programing involved, super simple ! You just need to be 100% with your wiring and grounding, this was the cause for nearly all the problens I had.
Hey Guys.. how did it go with the MCP and x-plane. After Karl's release of a new version of the $38 MCP I am looking to build one for me, but still not sure how to make this work. For me the buttons and encoders are not the problem actually. Did you have any success with the LCD displays for the SPD/CRZ/HDG/VS? Thank you /JK
Hi Jaakko I'm also building the MCP, (printed 38$ MCP) for simvim and X-plane. I think I have most things sorted out. I find simvim quite elegant actually, especially how it uses multiplexers and a data bus to connect losts of things to only one arduino.
Hi Jaakko
I'm also using X plane and Simvim.
On the Simvim website there are in depth guides on how to use it. I set up a simple test with some rotary encoders, toggle switches etc and I found it easy to use. I would read through all the guides before starting though.
I found this guys channel helpful also https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl1YVJMS71WUGmrLr4h2bsg
