Okay. Now I have tried several parts and printing them with the settings present here, https://www.737diysim.com/build-guides-1/boeing-737-throttle-quadrant-v3
Usually it ends up strange.
This is my spoiler handle, full of squares, and not a solid backside.
So I think something must be wrong in general settings I have.
This is the nice side where the printer ends its job = the top layer

And this is the side closest to the bed,

Not a pretty sight and useless part according to me. This is too basic look to use.
This time I have set support to lines like this,

So what to do?
I chose to have 100% filling for stability.
But why this strange pattern and bad lower side?
It does not seem solid with all the thin lines visible.
0.2 resolution can never, ever give the smoothness of the parts you can see in his videos. That is impossible.
So does anyone have a good suggestion what might be wrong here?
Okay, now I treid a lot of different settings here. The problem with no bottom layer always is present where there is support layer from build plane to model.
On the image below you can see that the bottom layer = towards build plate = bed.
As long as the model sticks to the build plate or bed whatever you use, its a thin, very thin bottom even if I have set the bottom to be 1mm thick and a 100% infill.
The top part of the image is showing where the support was attached to the model itself, in this case #22 (flap lever stem).
I set the support to add a "roof" as well (Cura 4.11), still I get this very un-even layer here. Why?
Printer is brand new has printed about 400 grams of PLA, nozzle is cleaned. Leveling is completed.
The image below here is the TOP layer = the last layer printed. I hope that is clear.
Hard to see here but it is in perfect condition as I use the "ironing"on the top surface. So that part is absolutely great, no complains about this side, very happy.
But there is no "ironing" option for bottom parts, especielly not much to deo when support is needed.
The item was printed as in the second image.
Unfortunately I used support everywhere, which made it impossible to remove the support in the long hole, I had to drill it up. But I guess if I only used support to bed it would have been better.
The settings I have used are these in total for this model
Something here somewhere has to be wrong, but the question is what? Any answer would be great.
Have a great day everyone.
Hi, I would check my printer itself, belt tensions ,screws etc. Then my bed level and my z height. Support is not needed where there are no overhangs. Filament print temp not too high etc. use cura recommended settings . Have fun.
Check your settings as it shouldn't be doing segmented sections like that. look under walls I think it is there. The outer wall should have a singular wall around it to whatever number of lines you want mine had 4 and the layer is also a single fill in one direction for the entire layer. so need to check your settings. This is what I got with a 0.4 nozzle on 0.16 layer height at speed of 50mm/s on an Ender 3 Pro a while back but abandoned the v3 TQ build when Karl released the Motorised TQ and now have a CR-10 v2 the pics below show the front sides and rear
