I am currently building Karls FMC, getting allong nicely i have 1 issue and that is that the upper action buttons cant hold the 6x6 tacktile/led switch.....when i put them in the base.....the are loose and the switch functions is not working becasue the switch is to far in the base...and the hole is to big for the 6x6
Ive tried several prints...but the result is the same.....anybody a idea??

Printed a new set of the upper switch bases which click onto the switches nicely. Issue I’m having now though is that with the faceplate fitted the switches no longer operate. Seems like the faceplate has nipped up the switch to the point of not allow it to operate. Faceplate openings are clean so doesn’t seem to be the problem.
Thanks Karl, amazing work as ever! I’ll try the new version and let you know. For info the switches I have were directly ordered from your link to eBay.
Hello Everyone, Sorry for the delay, i have been away and now have so many posts to catch up on. Just created a blog post:
8 people have said this has sorted there issue. Please let me know! Kind regards Karl
G'day Karl, I too found the same issue after seeing this post and checked the upper LSK buttons to tactile switches and they were loose or I am doing something wrong fitting them. As for the action buttons 2 sets of SimUK Caps arrived and are indeed well made and great value thanks to you and Sam.
I then discovered they didn't fit the buttons already printed. On rechecking the downloads found the SimUK modified buttons and now printed those and they now fit nicely. The only thing though was there was the square and round buttons and a 41B Action Base RESIN (1) stl. Does this work with PLA print of is it specific to Resin?
Regards Ross
Hi Karl
is this stl available to download?. Having a similar issue with the upper actions buttons. Also having printed them on my ender 3 they seem to be breaking easily due to the small amount of plastic in the upper section of the button.
the new stl file i got from Karl is a snug fit to the ticktile switch....thenks for the adjustment Karl !!
On it!
