Hello, I have been trying to print the Audio Panel embossed buttons on an Ender 3 Pro printer through Cura Slicer. The raised text does not print, only a couple of raised dots. I have tried a few settings I found on the internet for Cura but no legible text prints. I also purchased the files for the G1000NXI panel and all the buttons print fine with excellent raised text. What could possibly be wrong? Any recommendations on settings or could the files I purchased have a faulty download. I am unable to download the files again as I believe my purchase has expired.

Hi Karl and Kevin, I have had the same problem trying slice the buttons in Cura for my Elegoo 2, which has a 0.4 nozzle. I then changed the seting to show my printer having a 0.2 nozzle. On slicing again it show most of the lettering, but a break in in some M,s. Trying to decide if to go ahead and print with a 0.2 nozzle or wait to purchase them from Karl. Thanks for all the hard work you have put in Karl, hope you are able to settle in your new home and job soon. Take Care
Hello and let me step in here. The G1000 buttons used a text height of 2.5mm. which is 1mm below the minium printing text height, but cura seems to accept this. The GMA panel uses slightly smaller text due to the dual layer/2 line text on most buttons. This makes it much harder for cura to slice.
0.2mm nozzle should help, but to check, slice in cura and ensure you can see the text after slicing. If not, it will not print! Dont forget, i use a 4K resin printer for the buttons. Shortly, i will be buying a laser machine and will be able to produce the buttons for people to put into there projects.
Let me know how it goes, Kind regards Karl
You will probably find that if you used a 0.2 nozzle they would print give failing that use a resin printer OR adjust the text in Fusion to your liking..
that’s what I tend to do..
