Can anyone explain how these resistors and wires are connected together? I'm presuming they're soldered together underneath, but I'd like to see a good example of how. Thanks
Hello I can not show you becasue my kit is still not here with Me in the UK. I will try to explain though. I place the resistor in postion and lightly solder the legs. The legs remain.
I add the connecting wire and solder in place next to the leg of the resistor.
The resistor leg is then bent at 90 degrees to contact the solder joint of the connecting wire.
More solder is applied and the legs of the resistor are trimmed.
Now i know a picture paints a thousands words, so hopefully someone else can post one here!
Thanks Karl. After some experimenting I also brought the leg to the wire, rather than vice-versa. Considered trying to run a track between them, but bending the wire works fine.
