Karl, what is the part number for the 6x6 tactile switches you used in your FMC panel design? Also, where did you source them?

Oops, my bad....I was reading KY-040 and thinking KD2 switch. The encoders are everywhere for reasonable money. Had circuit boards made up to mount the 7-segment display modules for the MCP. It is a MAX7219 that plugs onto either a 3 digit or 5 digit display modules. The display should fit the window pretty closely. I have them in hand but have not yet tested them for functionality. We are getting ready to depart Arizona for home. Leaving on Wednesday morning for the 1900 mile trip. Less than $2.00 per board.

The only place I have found the 12 pole switches is open cockpit (3.12 euro)or cockpitsimparts (1.5 pounds). Have not seen the ky-040 anyplace but eBay at small quantity lots like 1 or 2 at a time. They were also expensive.

I just placed a order for a lot of 30 of the KY-040 that I found for a good price. Do you have any good recommendations for the toggle switches or the 12 pole switches?

Switches, LEDs, current limiting resistors are on order. I bought white Seven segment display modules for the MCP panel as well.

Yeah. But anything right now because of world events is going to be a little bit of a delay. But I placed the order and it gives me time to finish up the 30 other things I've got to finish before they get here, so good timing. :) I went with the clear and figured I can put a piece of colored plastic to any color I need between the button and LED. So hopefully everything works out.

The delivery times are kinda long though.

That is an amazing source for parts, thanks. I think I am going to order a lot without leds and a lot of orange leds for switches that need a different backlight color.

I ordered these a few days ago. Don't know if this is what your looking for, but I thought I would give them a try and if they don't work my MCP or FMC, I have few other projects I can use them for.
