I need help with my newly bought Ender 3 v2 printer. The printer is assembled and I print one of the examples that Creality gave on the Sd card. That print worked out good. I bought the 737 Throttle v3 and sliced the BackPlate LH. I thought I will start with that piece because it needs a 0.4mm nozzle. The 0.4 nozzle is standard delivered with the Ender 3 v2 printer. I used Cura ulitmate to slice the STL file. When I open the STL file I noticed that the backplate is standing up.

I thought that its difficult to print like this so I lay it down.

Than I slice the file. When I start printing it starts well for some layers until he comes to the small circles. The first circle goes well but with the second circle it goes wrong. The circle stays stuck on the nozzle and goes everywhere with the nozzle. I tried t many times and every time with the circle it goes wrong. Is their anybody who can tell what I do wrong? Should I keep the backplate standing up or is it ok to lay it down?
Hi Guys, if you find the pla not sticking to the bed on the first layer while it is creating the holes, really slow the printer speed down for the first layer. It stops the circles from pulling
Merry Christmas, Karl
Thanks to Karl I too bought a 3D printer (Ender 5) and started making my own parts. I had the same problem you did until I started adding a raft (it's one of the options in your slicer) to all of my parts. Since them I've had good, predictable results.
You gotta that bed level though! All else will fail if not...
Thanks for your comments. Looks like the bed was not level. It's printing now. Fingers crossed
Hi Mate,
I have the Ender 5 Pro which is pretty much the same as your printer. I too had issues with this print as it was one of the first prints I did. I definitely rotated it so it prints flat on the bed. I printed mine with raft as I had issues with it sticking to the bed. The main problems I have found have been trying to print without the bed being perfectly level. Make sure that you follow the guides online to ensure your bed is 100% level. I also found that the PLA that came with the printer wasn't great and when I started using rolls I purchased online I had no issues. I have now printed all the throttle and Yoke and everything has come out perfectly. Best of luck mate, stick at it as I know it can be frustrating at times when you're an hour into a print only to find you have to start over.
How about lowering the Z-axis height.
The first layer doesn't stick to the bottom, so it follows the nozzle.
