Hi friends,
Have been trying t solve my problem for weeks now, no luck.
I have calibrated the joystick in Windows 10

This is no problem the calibration turns out very well.
However when I go to P3D and use the calibration inside the flightsim, it is going crazy.
At first the values I get

At this position

= idle
Then I have to move throttle 2 up to this position before the fsuipc reacts at all with changes

Now is the first change of throttle 2 numbers, the throttle 1 has changed alot, but not number 2. It looks like this now;

So why is this happening?
Have calibrated the throttle quadrant in Windows game controller, it looks fine when I move the different levers and reacts as it is supposed to.
But as soon as I go inside the P3D and FSUIPC, that software cannot detect any movemt of the potentiometer for throttle 2 until way up, about 25 mm, but throttle 1 works great.
YES, I haver checked the potentiometer positions and throttle 2 is in the middle of the potentiometer and moves freely, it is not close to the end positions of the potentiometer.
So whats wrong here?
I have also exchanged the potentiometers twice with new ones to exclude errors in the potentiometers.
At this point my thought is stuck on the potentiometers themselves that those are junk and super bad quality. Wouldn't it be better with Cermet potentiometers for the throttles instead of carbon potentiometers?
Hello, I am just catching up and that is great info! Thank you for getting back and adding the solution for others. Kind regards Karl
Problem is solved very easy.
Never ever use FSUIPC to calibrate throttle in P3D!!
I simply removed all settings for throttles and reversers in FSUIPC and turned to P3D settings -> Controls and choose the controller card that you have connected to your throttle controllers. Then it is very easy to set up axis for Engine 1-2 (-3-4) and reverser axis.
When this is done calibrate it and save the settings.
Have now tried several flights with my PMDG 737 NG and no more problems, no calibration problems and the axis align perfectly between engine 1 and 2. No more error or mis alignment as is present all the time in FSUIPC.
I do not think FSUIPC is correctly programmed to handle engine setup, probably too basic add on to control throttle and reversers effectivly and correct.
