HI, I printed the trim wheel and attached to a rotary encoder, the issue is the handle side appears to be heavier so the always moves the handle to the bottom, any ideas how to remedy this with some resistance etc?, be interested to see ho other folks overcome this.
thanks, Steve
Not too much, I glued an old mouse pad and that resolved the issue, the 3d print wasn’t perfect so maybe just enough to throw it off.,,,
Hi Steve, How far out is the balance? I thought I had it pretty spot on which is why there so much material on the backside opposite. However, how about sandwiching some foam or resistance material between the wheel and body of the throttle. Ideally cut in a circle. Then is squished slightly as the wheel is inserted on to the encoder shaft. Kind Regards Karl
