Greetings,
I just completed printing the MCP R/H back plate.
When I tried to remove the “support” I found this incredibly difficult, too the point that I broke off the upper and Lower angle pieces.
As this is only my second print could someone please guide me as to where I might have gone wrong?
Printer is an Ender 3 max pro using “Sun” brand PLA. Using Creality Slicer 4.8, BED temp 60 nozzle 200.
I used the settings from the File provided without alteration.
Are there any settings or tips for aiding the removal of the support structure from prints.
Any advice appreciated.
Regards
Damien

Hi guys thanks for the reply's. I have done some playing around with settings and my prints have definitely improved. Your feedback has been great.

Simply turn it over. Then you only have supports in the connection ends. saves filament and print time. In fact the same applies to all the backplates and to some of the other pieces. The support settings work fine for me so if your using the same no adjustment should be necessary. I also dont use brim or any other adhesion types, magigoo is the way to go for bed adhesion. perfect adhesion every time. Im using the ender 6 which has a glass bed.
the support and bed adhesion brim look quite dense. I use a 3mm brim when required and set support density at 10%. Maybe cut the base areas to smaller sections for removal after the print
