I am trying to get the actuator working with the sim. As per Karl's instructions (below), I've purchased mini toggle switch (3 position 6 pins ON/OFF/ON). How do I connect to the sim?
Hi sam, under no circumstances connect this switch or actuator to the sim. The idea was to use the second switch to connect to the sim. Normally you need to push both switches at the same time to operate the trim. So in this case one would do the actuator, one would so the sim
Thank you for the email and forum post. I can see that you are correct and this post is well over a month old. As you know we are moving and the hardest thing to do on a laptop right now is wiring diagrams with fusion360. The screen real estate required is not there with a laptop compared to my desktop.
Due to the fact it's probably going to be another two months at least before I see my desktop. I have valiantly pushed on and tried to update the diagrams you need. You will find the Yoke, pitch and roll axis Wiring Diagrams in the build guide under step 0.
Thank you so much for the prompt response, much appreciated!
