Hi Karl,
First of all thanks for sharing your work with us! It is really inspiring! I want to try your Boeing 737 MCP V5 design so I downloaded the STL files zip file from the download section. I have an Ender 3 V2 so I wanted to print out the SPM version. I found that the included files 14a FACEPLATE RH spm.stl and 14b FACEPLATE RH spm.stl seem to be the middle part and the right part of the MCP (same for 15a Backplate RH SPM.stl and 15b Backplate RH SPM.stl). It seems that you've split the faceplate and the backplate in three parts to be able to easier print it out on a smaller printer, which is great! However, the left faceplate and backplate seem to be missing in the zip or am I missing something?
Kind regards,
Jack
Hello Guys,
I think this might be what you are after.
Best Wishes, Helen.
The backplate is fine. I have printed it like that. If you want I can share the cut up faceplate (again I really just used 3D Builder)
Hi Jack, the file 13 Faceplate and Backplate are printable on a Ender 3 (or any printer with 220x220 bed size). You have to print it in standing up and angled diagonally so that it fits.
I used Microsoft 3d Builder to "cut" the 13 faceplate in the middle so that I can print it laying flat on the bed (otherwise the ink will run into the PLA when you color the text).
Hope this helps.
Best
Max
