Hi everyone,
I am finally in a position to start my sim build and will wait until the summer months before I really get started. In the meantime I purchased a Creality Ender 3d pro printer and thought i would get ahead of the game and start printing a few items from Carl's website so that I could really crack on when the summer arrives.
I started with what I thought was an easy print to get used to the process, however after several attempts, all i seem to print are wafer thin parts that simply break up into fragments in my hand!!! Can anyone help me please, what am i doing wrong!! I am a total novice to 3D printing and I am not the best when it comes to things techie but i really don't understand where I am going wrong.
I am using Carl's profile from his website. If anyone can give any advice I would be really grateful. .
Regards Andy
HI Karl,
Thank you for taking the time to get back to me.I using the filament that came with the printer as i was just practicing. 200 degrees nozzle and 60 degrees bed.
I have now had some success. I think it was the setting that drives the filament into the nozzle.
I,m going to try the proper PLA+ that I have purchased and see what happens.
Ill purchase the full package from you next month. One step at a time!!
Regards
Andy
Hello Andy, That sounds like a blocked nozzle straight away! Please change it for a spare and try again. Usually the Ender works staright out of the box without making to many adjustments. Can I ask what filament you are using? And at what temp?
