I found this drawing for a Patch Panel box and I was wondering what it is used for and where it is used. If someone can send me a picture of where you used it that would awesome. Also the drawing is missing the cover for the box, wondering if anyone knows where this is. I resin printed this box and it turned out awesome.
Of course all help is greatly appreciated.
Kindest Regards,
Capt. Michael
Hello Gents,
The only patch panel I can think of is for the radios in the pedestal. This allows all the wiring cross-connections from the Arduino to the displays in one place. There is no dedicated cover because, if I remember right, It was a piece of PCB prototype board.
This is the only photo I could find of it. The patch panel is the blue box at the front.
Hello Michael, I'm a retired Boeing driver and I'd never heard the term until a couple of months ago when I joined Karl & Helen's Forum. I put a couple of things that were mentioned in the post together, and deduced that it is the "Map Pocket" on tthe top of the MIP. If I'm right, there is no cover; just a light flat spring on the inside.
Tom. PS. the are a lot of Merrigans in my area of south Wicklow. T.
