I love this website and all the information that you guys are sharing with us. I have learned a lot from Karls's YouTubes and the "getting started" section of this website. I have bought an Ender 3D printer and started with a small and cheap CNC machine. After a year I have bought a semi-professional CNC machine and I use it mainly for my FS panel stuff. I'm still learning and when one panel is done, I'm starting to build the next one, trying to do it better, with better quality and better-looking stuff.
Karl is a fan of cables and that's what I've been using so far. But PCB's is still one bridge too far for me, it's just not what I'm good at and I also don't have the time to learn it. But still, there might be people around sharing the same hobby (flight simulation) that don't have a 3D printer or CNC, that made me think.. Wouldn't it be great to find some people with the same hobby and enthusiasm to work on projects together? To build together making use of each one's knowledge and machinery? One can do the PCBs, the other one CNC and print and a third one can do the programming. Sharing equipment and knowledge might enable us to make more good stuff. Are there others that would like to work together and can contribute to that? Small groups, that work on a specific item? Would that work?
I would be willing to help and I am working together with another fellow long distance helping each other work out issues that arise. Nothing better than working as a team to achieve our goals.Heck Karl has gone to great lengths to help us out so the least we can do is help out others also. No sense taking all this knowledge to the grave and not sharing it with the community.
