Based on the front section cockpit I brought the file for a little while back, I have decided to make a desktop version. When not in use (or in DCS mode) I can pack it away and bring it out when I am in a 'civil' mood.
I was (and still may) going to use my own laser I am building but the Z table circuit is kicking me ATM so I planned to make the box use the wood at the local hacker space and laser the lot. a few things failed me on the day. I won't make your eyes bleed with the details but I had my plan to overcome my logistics issue go south (I am on a motorbike) long story short I could only laser the front of the MIP in 7mm ply and UBER that to the workshop....
The rest was made by two left hands and while there are a couple of stuffups I have the start of something.
(I finish it off fitting monitors and painting in the next couple of weeks) You never know, once I get my laser going (somewhere in 2048) I will redo the box)

I brought the cad files for the FMC and will intend to build it and design a bottom part of the case to fit on a old mount for my warthog throttle mount (married my current mount with a old plate I had made for my X56)
yep a flashforge, a LD-002H my large printer which is a work in progress as my 80w C02 laser before (I annoy you ( :P ) on pateron and facebook as Stephen)
Hi Ghost,
That's a fantastic start and it sounds like you have to overcome some fairly big hurdles before you even got going. Would love to hear more and see more!
Have you go a 3d printer? That will also help you create some major parts.
Kind regards Karl
