Hi there,
I am currently building my MCP based on Karls plans and in the process I decided to create a few things to help me with the build. These things I created because Karl inspired me to do so. Please, do not mind me showcasing a few.
1) Arduino Mega Bumper for mounting.
There are a few of these on Thingiverse already, but most of them use the four outer screw holes for mounting. For two of these you need some smaller diameter screws and I wanted to create something that uses screws I had laying around. My bumper uses the two screw holes in the middle. This way I get away with a great looking unit that only uses two M3x8 machine screws two attached the arduino to the bumper.

2) Holding bracket for the MCP unit.
I will use my MCP on my desktop so I need a way to support the unit. As for now, I use one of these brackets seen in green per side to hold the unit.. I designed a left hand and a right hand side, since they have cutouts at the back to accomodate the PCB of the K040 encoders. They could also act as maintenance stands for someone who uses the unit in a cockpit. I will come up with a more permanent solution but for now they do as intended.

Thats it for now. Thank you Karl for inspiring me to do my own stuff! :)
Cheers.
Hello Daniel, thank you and that's an awesome job. If you would like to share these on the website? I will add these to the STL downloads page. If not, no worries! Kind regards Karl
