I Just wanted to show you my build.
It follows Karl's design. I started this version of my sim about 4 years ago. I watched a few of Karl's Youtube videos and I was hooked. Its a massive project but very rewarding.
I moved house last January so needed to dissemble and relocate everything. Not an easy job! It took 4 months to put it back together but it gave me the opportunity to rebuild the base to scale and to put it on wheels.
This year I have also built the rear wall assemblies - The build is nearly finished, apart from the cockpit door, and I am on the lookout for scale 737 seats. I am also printing the Motorised MTU.
Future projects will be a motorized dual yoke - Actually not sure if it will ever be finished, but that's part of the fun!!
I use Xplane, Zibo 737. For control I use RSC, SPADnext, Air manager, ZHSI and Flywithlua. I have 3 pcs, one for visuals, one runs both FMC's and the other runs the MIP displays. I have a triple monitor setup using 3x65 inch tv's. I run them on 2k resolution
If anyone needs support with anything please reach out. I have had lots of problems along the way both with the build and technically. I have always managed to work through anything thrown at me thou, with help from this forum and others on the net.

I’ve printed most nd h the bearings etc but haven’t started putting it together yet.
The biggest problem is going to be what interface to use to move and control the servos for the throttles
RSC (Simvin) won’t work, I don’t think SPAD will either. Maybe Air Manager or even a Lua Scrip.
when I find a solution I will let you know. can you do the same if you find one first? thanks

Stunning! Do you have any encouragement with regard to getting the MTU wired up and working? Mines all together but I’m a bit lost getting it properly interfaced.

Wonderful! I am on the same route but not there yet. Side walls, side windows (without the triangle yet), fwd overhead and mcp ready. Rest already bought but to assemble.
I glued the 5 layer sils together but am always hesitating to start trying to give it shape. Not sure where to start ..... Any help or advice is welcome there!

Firstly, that is stunning! and my heart sinks knowing that I used to own an identical replica! The thing is i am about to start v4 and it already a million times better, but I would happily still have my original sim. This time i can only have the pilots side to space, but I love recreating the parts to a much higher standard.
Some great photos and craftsmanship going on there!
