Here is my single column,I m not using a base so I built a support out of steel, very smooth operation with just a single 15lb spring.I had to notch the pipe for spring clearance.
Hi Steven, The general Idea was to use cord/string on the bottom spring loop, feed the cord to the bottom. This way the spring can be stretched to the desired tension and secured around the lower tube assembly making assembly/adjustment and maintence much easier. Kind Regards Karl
I cut a 1/4" pin to fit across the lower edge of the insert part of the elbow,I also turned a groove in the middle of the pin to keep the spring in the middle.
I used supports, the left side cleaned out not bad,I used stiff wire to clear out the channel, the right side I use for POV switch, that was more difficult to clean out,I have made two of these so far.
Hi Guys, I don't use supports internally, because clearing them out would be a nightmare. I use supports touching the build plate only. That leaves a nice clean pathway, and it doesn't matter id the filament sags slightly as you can not see it. Kind Regards Karl
Great work! Every table needs a 737 Yoke! Excellent work and I bet you're well chuffed with it. I am looking forward to my table getting it's very own 737 yoke... One day! Cheers John

Hi when you printed the yoke, did you use supports? How did you keep the wiring channel clear of supports?
