Interested in planes since about 6 in 1965, because my dear late Father liked planes. Built Airfix models, balsa gliders and painted HO soldiers. Dad spent 1 week upside down in the pilot seat rewiring Vulcan bombers as he worked at Smiths Industries Cheltenham who made all the old steam gauges. Grandfather worked between the wars at the Gloucester Aircraft Company, making planes from wood and string haha. They used the same runway that Sir Frank Whittle did his jet engine tests. Concorde 002 flew over our house, we could hear Chief Test Pilot Brian Trubshaw on a modified FM radio as he flew her from Filton to RAF Fairford. I was hooked by then. Want to make my flightsim more realistic, and practice for a few flight lessons one day.

Evening Karl A desktop 172 sim interests me, as your G1000 3D printable looks cool. Will you be selling a build guide? I'm trying to find the dimensions of the G1000 cockpit, which I know is 40in wide. -Paul
Good morning Paul,
Great to hear rom you and I hope this finds you well back in Blighty!
I am hooked on MSFS and its tutorials, trying to improve my skills and learn all aspects of aviation. This is why in my spare time i have created a desktop 172 sim, just so i can jump in the seat and go. Also for my children to play with.
Kind Regards Karl
