hi folks, looking for some advice. Given the prohibitive cost of Prosim(£1500), is AirManger(£65) able to facilitate the interface between msfs 2020 and diy instruments?
Hi Dee, Great to hear from you and welcome! Prosim is expensive and I know others use PMDG737. however as you are probably aware they are expecting to release this for MSFS2020 until October. I haven't tried air manager so can not comment on that. Hopefully someone from here can help you out. Kind Regards Karl
thank you for the information Karl, I'm hoping to start soon with 3D printing, Ender 3 Pro V2 arrives Wednesday. Been checking out the CNC router 3018, looks ok for a beginner, a steep learning curve with CAD too. I know I've mentioned previously I'm an avid follower of yours and Michael's YouTube videos, inspiring and educational taking the hobby to a level I never I dreamed would be possible.
My fav plane is the ATR 72, just something different. I obviously like the 737 too, hence my enthusiasm for creating a limited cockpit(space is the enemy) to indulge my inner pilot self. Given the price of Air Manager and how Prosim software is now unrealistically expensive for an occasional simmer with limited budget, before it shoots up on price I reckon at £65 it's worth at least a try. PMDG will not be cheap I fear, I look forward though to its release. Thank you for all you're doing for the flight sim community. Regards, Dee
