I started building a B747-400 cockpit in 2008. I was using Project Magenta software it was very buggy. My son worked for a sign company who had a laser machine so we made the panels on it. In 2017, Peter from Build a Boeing introduced me to the Prosim737 so I began converting my cockpit to the B737-800. I really prefer doing short, 1 1/2 - 3 hour flights and the 747 isn't well suited to those. The Prosim737 software is much easier to work with. I'm planning to rebuild my 737 Throttle Quadrant and I'm waiting on a reply to my post in the forum on which guide to purchase, probably the Boeing 737 Motorised Throttle5

Thanks for the Welcome. I never got into helicopters. I tried flying one years ago in FSX and kept turning upside down so I gave up. I wanted to be an airline pilot when I was young but it didn't work out. I've always had a fascination for flying and discovering flight simulation back in 1992 has at least allowed me to fulfill part of that dream. I fly almost exclusively the Prosim737 and recently switched fromPrepar3Dv5.3 to MSFS2020.
Welcome to the group. I also live in Dallas, so I suggest we collaborate. I am building helicopter controls with my own Bambu Labs X-1 Carbon 3D printer.
