Hello to all other crazy people who decided to build an aircraft (or at least some parts of it) in their living room (or wherever it is allowed by your wife/husband). I am Tom , living in the south of Germany. I am flying in the sim since more than 20 years, but only with MSFS back in 2005, it became serious when I entered the Vatsim network. My wife made the mistake to put a 3 d printer below the Christmas tree and here I am. Unfortunately, my space is limited to my desk, so I will start with only some parts, which first is the MCP panel I am currently working on. Later maybe the FMC could follow and maybe some other elements depending on space, time and budget.
Finally, a big thanks to Karl for having this here done for all of us. Great help and great support!
Hello Tom, and welcome. That was a great read and I find myself too having to downsize drastically. The MCP is a great project! And looks really good even though it's 3d printed in my opinion.
It's amazing what a 3d printer can achieve with a little time and patience.
Kind regards, karl
