DXF files

Hi all, Sam has purchased the MCP fusion design and has problems combining the 130 different sketch layers to create a complete sketch layer for Laser cutting and etching.

Here's how I do it:

Open the design, click on the faceplate surface, and push the key "P" - Project.

737DIYSIM MCP

This will create a new sketch with all the cutouts and etches on it like in the picture below:

Pressing "P" on the MCP Surface selects all the data

Its best then to hide all the bodies and components by pressing the key "v"

Now you can inspect the selection and ensure you have everything or delete the parts you don't want:

Then it's just a case of saving and exporting! Done in seconds!

I hope this helps, I use a CNC machine and that process is very different.

Kind Regards

Karl
