Hall Sensors

This post goes to Bala from South Africa. He has been working on his real dual linked yokes. Instead of using potentiometers for the analogue readings, he looked at hall effect sensors. They have no dead zone and very low jitter, the downside is they are expensive compared to a pot.

These are wired exactly the same as a pot and are directly interchangeable. They require GND, +5v and the centre pin is the analogue output.
