69 years old and just starting this project. Jumped in whole hog as they say. Have my 3D printer and just ordered my engraver which I will get to upgrade and use it as a cnc also. Just for the plates and engraving. Going to try to make as close as possible to real but it is for flying (I hope) mainly. Live with my girlfriend and have the project crammed into a 8 foot by 10 foot room. LOL Call me crazy. I use to build electromechanical control systems for the paper industry so I'm going to give it a go. I live in Fort White, Fla. Still work four ten hour day and I have my girlfriend backing me all the way.
