The ultimate printer I can recommend is the Bambu Labs X1 carbon with AMS or P1P if you have deep pockets. ($1200). It's a massive leap forward in 3D printing, with excellent quality and impressive speeds. It's pretty much press print and go as the software and hardware do the calibration before each print.

This design was primarily created with MSFS2020 in mind. The G1000 can be printed on a standard Ender 3 print bed of 220mm x 220mm. For improved quality, the buttons can be resin printed, but a filament printer will work fine too.

STEP:

1

Print the Qty 4 frames in white PLA, OR print in Black if backlighting is not required and use a white paint pen to highlight the raised text.

Spray the 4 parts with black spray paint, apply at least 3 or 4 coats to build the layer thickness. This is required to stop the backlighting from shining through. Once dry, gently sand or file the paint of the raised text.

Print all the Action buttons in white PLA

Insert the 6mm x 6mm led tactile switch into the back of the Action buttons. They should click into place. If you need to remove the switches, you will need a screwdriver to remove the switches from the buttons without damage.
