The ultimate printer I can recommend is the Bambu Labs X1 carbon with AMS or P1P if you have deep pockets. ($1200). It's a massive leap forward in 3D printing, with excellent quality and impressive speeds. It's pretty much press print and go as the software and hardware do the calibration before each print.

Create the frame using a 38mm box section in either steel or aluminium using the drawing provided here:

You must print the end caps if you opted for the simple version. The STL can be found here:

These take a lot of weight, and a high wall and infill will be required. If any adjustments are required, please see step 1.

Insert the cap ends into the bottom frame ends.

Print QTY 2 Bearing housings. The file can be found here:

Insert 6204 bearings into them.

Insert an M4 x 8mm screw into the housing to secure the bearing

Place the bearing onto the shaft.
