How to connect LCD's, Servo's & Steppers
With the IC2 board attached, it only requires 4 wires to connect the display to the Arduino mega. They are:
VCC = +5v
GND= GND
SDA = SDA
SCL = SCL
The wiring of LCD's is the same regardless of display size.
LCD's
These are amazing devices to get your sim to display any numerical data and you can create panels easily and cheaply. Unlike 7 Segment displays, you are not limited to numbers, which is why many people favour these for the 737 IRS display.
When purchasing these displays, try to buy the ones that come with the pre-soldered IC2 driver boards attached.
