Functionality note: This is essentially a dummy/visual panel. Most Sims do not support individual radio volume adjustment per COMM channel; where a control exists, it typically has little or no in‑sim effect. Choose this unit for realism, layout, and lighting, not for functional audio mixing unless you are very good at programming.
Construction & Materials
- Three‑layer stack:
- 2 × transparent Perspex layers to transmit light
- 1 × white Perspex core, primed and painted black for crisp, high‑contrast with immaculate fibre lasered text
- Rear‑illuminated legends: Designed to glow evenly with green LED strip lighting (recommended; not supplied)
- Replica knobs: Profiled to echo the real unit, supplied plain grey.
- Each knob includes a raised locator stripe that allows the addition of the marker using a white or black paint pen. The raised ridge makes it easy to paint neatly without touching other surfaces.
