The ultimate printer I can recommend is the Bambu Labs X1 carbon with AMS or P1P if you have deep pockets. ($1200). It's a massive leap forward in 3D printing, with excellent quality and impressive speeds. It's pretty much press print and go as the software and hardware do the calibration before each print.

Prior to beginning the build process, it is important to note that there are two print options available depending on the type of rotary switch you have purchased. The more costly large D shaft 8 position rotaries from Opencockpits require parts denoted by an "L" at the end of the print prefix label. On the other hand, the less expensive and smaller 8-position rotaries use parts designated by an "S" at the end of the print prefix label.
It is not necessary to print every item in the pack. Nevertheless, the items that are listed without any ending prefix must be printed since they are necessary for both options.

Insert the 45 Degree rotary switches into the base DU2
DU2L Large switches
DU2S 16mm Switches

Secure the rotary switches with the supplied locknuts.

Install 12v LED strip top and bottom.

Install an M3 Brass insert into each of the shaft adapters. Use glue to secure them in place.

Install the shaft adapters DU3. Ensure to print the adapters in transparent filament or resin.

To secure the rotary switch shafts, make sure to tighten the M3 grub screws. You can use a screwdriver or hex shaft key through the maintenance hole located at the lighting backbox's base.

Place the the Backbox behind the upper MIP faceplate

To securely attach the general knob body, insert an M3 brass piece that fits snuggly into the orifice. Use superglue or epoxy for a long-lasting hold. After the adhesive dries, insert an M3 x 10mm grub screw into the brass piece.

Secure the assembly with QTY 2, m4 x 25mm screws.
