318 Korry Annunciators
Product Overview: Introducing our high-fidelity 318 Korry Annunciator replicas, crafted through reverse engineering of genuine Korry 318 units. These replicas, constructed from a PCB and resin, maintain the operational integrity of the original metal version. Both models feature identical pin configurations and functionality, including the signature push test function.
Our replicas are optimized for a 5V power supply, unlike the original units, which require 28V. Both versions offer a dedicated pin for reporting push activation to connected systems, making integration with Arduino or Mobiflight seamless. Users primarily seeking illumination can easily utilize the ground and LED pins. Remember, a current-limiting resistor matched to the LED colour is essential for the LED line, and our SMD components include diodes, not resistors, to ensure proper operation.
Superior Craftsmanship: Utilizing cutting-edge 8K resin printers, our replicas boast a smooth, polished finish. Fibre laser engraved lenses add to the visual appeal. Each unit includes two tactile LED switches, providing uniform illumination and a satisfying tactile response. Whether you need a non-pressable caption or an interactive press-to-test functionality, our annunciators deliver.
Connection Details:
Pin 1: 5V in (Current Limiting resistor required)
Pin 2: Switch to action Mobiflight
Pin 3: LED On from Mobiflight (Current Limiting resistor required)
Pin 4: Ground
Each Korry features a resin-printed back cage that allows the unit to fit most components of various thicknesses with the use of a screw and nut.
Available Versions:
Fully Built: Ready for immediate installation, including a back shell for mounting to a 3mm panel.
DIY Assemble: All components are included for self-assembly. Soldering skills for the PCB are necessary.
PCB Board Only: Pre-soldered SMD diodes; add and solder the tactile LED switches and header pins yourself. Select PCB in both options to display the correct price.
Custom Lenses: Tailor lenses to your simulation needs. Choose your preferred colour and text.
FAQ:
- Does the 5v power have to come from the Arduino? No, an external 5v power supply can be used if the power supply and Arduino grounds are connected.
- Do you sell the PCB without the Press to Test function? No, don't connect it. The LED can still be illuminated by the Arduino & Mobiflight.
- I want to power the test function with 28v. Is this possible? Yes, apply 28V to the 5v pin using the appropriate rated resistor.
