🛠️ Product Description

Bring your Boeing 737 home cockpit to an entirely new level of authenticity with this high‑fidelity Rear Bulkhead CAD Design. Originally created as a pinnacle project of 737DIYSIM’s 2020 design work, this model captures every contour, angle, and structural detail of the real aircraft's rear bulkhead system.

The exterior skin has been meticulously reshaped from early angular test meshes into a smooth, accurate aircraft fuselage curve, ready for fabrication using 3mm MDF, plywood, or CNC‑cut components. Every major bulkhead assembly is included, split into two halves for easier construction and movement—ideal for anyone upgrading from a basic shell to a fully enclosed cockpit environment.

This is the missing structure most home‑builders never have, and the moment you install it, the cockpit transforms into an immersive flight‑deck replica—complete with the iconic “through‑the‑door” feel.

✨ Highlights & Key Features

Ultra‑detailed CAD Modeling

Every bracket, angle, former, handle, rack, and panel interface is included for full cockpit integration.

Built Around Realistic Construction Methods
Designed for a wooden/MDF internal frame, skinned with 3mm MDF or similar flexible sheets. The model reflects real‑life bending and contour matching, not simplified CAD approximations.

Full CB Racks & Accessories
Includes complete circuit breaker rack structures, mounting points, jumper seat considerations, and more.

CNC or Hand‑Build Ready
Components are designed to be fabricated using CNC routers or standard woodworking tools.

Matched to 737DIYSIM Ecosystem
Dimensionally aligned with the rest of the 737DIYSIM cockpit components, ensuring perfect fitment.

Split for Practical Assembly
Bulkheads are separated into two major halves for transport and easy installation.

Please Note:
This product includes CAD models only — no 2D drawings or dimensioned blueprints.
You will need Fusion 360 or a similar modern CAD package to open the files.

📚 Context of Use
This CAD package is intended for:

Home cockpit builders
737 flight‑sim enthusiasts
Builders upgrading from open frames to full‑enclosure cockpits
CNC fabrication shops producing custom simulator shells

The internal surfaces are intentionally simplified—the real‑world method uses flexible sheet material bent and screwed onto the frame. In CAD, this type of compound bending is extremely difficult, so the design shows the correct frame geometry, which the real skins will naturally follow when installed.

⚠️ Limitations & Important Notes

No dimensioned technical drawings included (the original designer never completed them due to complexity)
Requires a reasonably powerful computer to view the full assembly
Very large components—ensure you have space to build and assemble
This is not a 3D‑printable object by itself, though many small accessories can be 3D printed

🚀 Build Something Spectacular
This is the structural piece that turns a “cockpit project” into a cockpit.
If you want that true aircraft immersion, this is the component that delivers it. When you step through the door into the cockpit.
