This simplified version is derived from your updated AFDS design—originally created from a real AFDS faceplate that was mailed to you for measurement accuracy.

Accurate proportions and button spacing
The stacked light‑diffusion layout (faceplate, lenses, diffusers)
Your improved tactile switch placement design
A realistic exterior appearance despite being 3D‑print‑only

3D printing settings
Printing Recommendations
Material: PLA or PETG
Clear parts: Use transparent PLA/PETG or resin for the lens/diffuser pieces
Settings:
0.12–0.2 mm layer height
Slow print for the faceplate for sharper legend recesses
Supports: Minimal; depends on printer orientation
Finishing:
Sand the faceplate lightly
Paint edges matte black for better light control
