These units have been created on the Creality CR10 and feature some glorious compound curves. The design flows smoothly in every direction. It has the cutouts for the warning panels, and each of the eight sections is hollow, keeping print times and PLA usage down to a minimum. These will add to the overall look of the sim at a push of a button.
The eight sections were designed to be held together with M4 x 14mm countersunk Black screws. The upper section is designed to be glued on. When completed, these produce a very sturdy and rigid unit.
The base of the unit has various mounting holes for 8mm bolts.
Please Note: These are incompatible with my previous version (Dual Seat). These utilise the full depth of the glare shield.
Each side will take a minimum of 5 days with a 0.8mm nozzle and will probably use the best of two rolls of PLA. The final weight is 1.8KG each.
I would recommend using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height if you want an almost smooth finish on completion. I also used 10% infill.
