This is a lower-cost 3D-print-only version of the 737SS DU panel, created for builders who do not need editable CAD files and simply want to print and build.
The design retains the same core lighting-focused philosophy as the full version:
Optimised for even backlighting

Designed to support illuminated knob index stripes for realistic night operation
Uses a self-contained back box to create a clean, enclosed lighting solution
Unlike many DU panels that suffer from uneven lighting and dead spots, this design relocates the rotary switches away from the faceplate to improve light distribution into the knobs, resulting in a more authentic night-time appearance.

For best night lighting:
Print knobs in clear resin
Paint grey
Sand the raised index line to expose the clear resin
Leave clear or paint the line white
This allows the index stripe to glow naturally at night.

No CAD files included – geometry cannot be edited
This version is not suitable if you plan to modify hole positions, thicknesses, or layouts
Knob illumination quality depends on resin clarity, paint thickness, and LED choice
Basic DIY skills are required: sanding, painting, light-sealing, and wiring LEDs
Always verify switch dimensions before purchase, as off-brand tolerances vary
